All one has to do it aquire the ways of one who has been there and not LOOK
like a newbie. Don't dress like a tourist is the main idea. If you walk
around by yourself you will be hit on. The very first time I went in 1980 I
was lucky enough to be guided the whole time I was there by a young teen
that "Owned" me for a small sum and kept others away. This is all you have
to do. Get a guide for the entire trip. Not a hard concept to grasp and make
sence everywhere you travel. It's true that people now know me by site and I
have the same old friends take care of me but I have tried to turn people on
to what I know but some just don't seem to take advice. You don't have to be
a seasoned traveler to act like one.
