Of course it is a difficult question.

We can't... see below for SOME of the reasons.

Completely understanding how to own and operate a restaraunt in (say)
the US is something completely different from owning one in (say) Canada let
alone the Carribean. One of the major differences of course will be culture.
Another one is currency considerations. Do you want to mess with converting
(say) Arubian Florans back to US dollars or do you want to use an island that
essentially uses the US$ as its own currency? What are the regulations of
employment, for instance? Taxes, rules, regulations, sometimes shall we say
"regulatory personnel inducements?" Can you get some help from the local
government? What is already on the island and how can you differentiate
yourself from it so people will come to your place? Where is the best place
(for instance on some islands, the American tend to congregate in one area
while those from Europe in another and how does that impact on your decisions
to place a restauraunt?).
These are but a few of the questions that need to be asked answered
before any can even begin to discuss starting a restaurant anywhere.
