thank you so much for responding.
My heart was all set on St Lucia, until I spotted a few nights ago this
awesome gallery of pictures of Tobago taken by a bloke (amd featuring in
some pictures, his wife)
http://dave.my100megs.com
Now the images in this gallery, truly looked like paradise on earth to
me.
And Tobago looked (given these images) much more appealing, scenery
wise, than many of the areas that I had seen in St Lucia. St Lucia has
some 160 thousand folks on their small island......so a fair bit of
poverty....plus some of their beaches are more darker volcanic sand
type.
Both islands, especially Tobago, are relatively undiscovered gems.
How bad was the heat and humidity while you were in the islands?
You weren't down around Vieux Fort or Savanne's Bay in the south of the
island by any chance? I will be spending some time down there. And i
will also be stopping off at the Reef Cafe and Restaurant on that beach
down there.
