My wife and I plan to spend a week at this AI resort starting the end
of February, and I have the following questions for those who are
familiar with Barcelo; as well as opinions of the resort in general:
1. I understand that there are a few different theme nights for the
buffet dinners, such as seafood, chinese, etc. If so, in order to
avoid dinners at the a la carte restaurants on say the seafood night,
would like to know what those nights are. And what night is the
"Michael Jackson" look-alike show?
2. If you could spend only one day snorkeling at either Xel-Ha or Ya
Kul Lagoon which would you prefer? And can you buy food at Ya Kul or,
if not, is it ok to bring your own?
3. There is a little (tiny) island just (about 50 yards) off the
snorkel/boat pier, and I wonder if it is true what I heard that
swimmers/snorkelers are permitted to climb on it for rest and the
view?
4. And as a gerneral question, just ordered an Aquapac waterproof
camera case and would appreciate opinions of users.
