Subject: Belize to Honduras Posted on: Tue, 13 Apr 2004 13:57:12 +0000

I'm flying into Belize City at the beginning of May and plan on heading
out to Caulker Caye and then maybe sailing to Honduras (Roatan
preferably). My questions are:
1) Does anyone have any experience
sailing this route? Any recommendations?
2) Is it worth visiting the
Mayan ruins in Belize as well as Copan (Honduras)? If so which sites are
best?
3) Is there any decent shopping in San Pedro Sula, i.e.
malls/boutiques with a wide choice (like in Rio de Janiero and Buenos
Aires)? Again recommendations would be great!
4) Finally, is it
necessary to get a prescription diving mask or are contact wearers ok?

Thanks in advance for any posts!
