So many rules and regulations. I can remember how it was before the
government got involved when all you needed to was a ship and a parrot. Now,
you have to have specific non-slide stoppers on the bottom of your peg leg, a
safety guard on the hook, the Coast Guard has to inspect the ship, ATF is
making us keep up paperwork on the cannon, the Humane Society has to make sure
you aren't keeping the parrot on your shoulder for more than 5 hours at a time
and that they have two breaks a shift. I tell ya, being a pirate ain't as fun
as it used to be.
