Really?? To my experience Cubans do everything to meet tourist, are
very friendly, but this is just a mask. You are the person they need
to get dollars and a visa from the island. They have no other
possibility to progress then getting to know tourists. As long as you
say they are poor and interesting, and they think you will help them,
sure they will love you. If you say you are getting tired of this act,
if you cannot be used for their goals, the mask drops off real quickly
and you can, so to speak, get a knife in you back. Well, to see this
is helps if you speak Spanish I must say.
