Trust me... In Mexico you do NOT want to stay at a two or three star
hotel. That's like a .5 or 1 star at home. In these hotels the food
will likely be bland poor quality, poor service, and maybe even
problems with the plumbing and A/C. So, I would reconsider. If money
is an issue then do a search for the Yalmakan. They changed their
name but I stayed there a few years ago with a friend of mine. We just
wanted to party and meet the opposite .. The hotel was very good at
the time. Another one is Las Perlas. Google this one if you like.
