Subject: Re: Continental dis-honoring upgrade Posted on: Tue, 27 Jul 2004 22:00:47 -0400

Respectfully, none of the issues you mention apply inthis case. It is
simply a case ofContinental's outrageous refusal to honor a simple,
explicit promise by using irrelevant excuses and incorrect claims
about a "low fare" and not knowing that Bermuda and Barbados are
different and by invoking an ex-post-facto rule (regarding biz class
which this flight does not have anyway )- and then going into hiding
when the persistent question is asked.

CO personnel, as the series of stupid responses establish, are both
incompetant and duplicitous.

That's why this message is being posted here as well as in the
airlines newsgroups. I want anyone flying to the Caribbean on
Continental or considering accepting a voucher from them at any
airport to know how CO treats thos who trust them.

Which is also why a formal complaint of fraud has been filed in the
state where this phony deal took place.
