Subject: Family Vacation in the Bahamas Posted on: Fri, 30 Jul 2004 18:11:22 +0000 (UTC)

We are using some vouchers on AirTran to fly into Freeport, Grand
Bahama Island in February. I'd appreciate any suggestions for a place
to stay with my wife and kids (7, 9, 11 yrs). Ideally it would be a
safe environment, beautiful setting, stuff for both parents and kids to
do, and great food. The Lucaya resorts look convenient, so that's my
first thought (Sheraton Our Lucaya), but I'd love other ideas. If you
suggest other islands, how do we get there? We're not too pumped about
small planes over water. AirTran doesn't fly into Nassau.
