IMHO it could have happened anywhere. I won't categorically exclude
Honduras even if the baggage came through Miami. I don't trust baggage
handlers at any airport. FWIW, I don't trust the baggage handlers at
the luxury/first class bus terminals either. My friends and I have
dealt with enough theft of property here in Honduras to have developed
a cynical outlook on many members of the local population - baggage
handlers included.
