My family and I are heading down next week to conduct services for the Jewish
high holidays (I'm an ordained rabbi who works for a think tank.) We've been in
contact both by phone and e-mail with a number of our congregants in Nassau and
everything is fine. There's some uprooted trees and broken windows but that's
it. I don't see any reason to cancel.
