At Baby Beach, some folks never get past the tidal area near the parking
lot and snack bar.

You really must wade out to the opening in the rocks, and then swim out
into the sea just a little to experience the delightful snorkling
experience available at Baby beach. Parrot fish, trumpet fish, elk and
brain coral (watch out for the fire coral!), sargent majors, butterflies,
french angels, and many other species habituate this area. And for advanced
divers, there's a marvelous drift dive experience from Baby Beach south
when one can glimpse more exotic residents like lobster, turtle, baracuda,
grouper, and if you're lucky you'll spot one of the whale sharks that
cruise the area.

And, you cannot see the refineries at Baby beach. They are closer to
Roger's beach, about a mile further south.

But who needs baby beach when there's about 20 sites all along the south
reef where you can experience great snorkling and diving. With pristine
warm water, visibility over 120' most days, and the abundant life on the
reef, it's a new experience daily.

Talk with some of the local divers, or hook up with a reputable vendor like
De Palm or Aruba Divers to learn where to go. Once you experience
underwater Aruba, you'll want to return again and again.
