Okay, so it is fuel for airplanes. If you have a better term for it,
let me know. Isn't hindsight always perfect? You are using the
mindset long after the wars to evaluate the stragetic importance of a
humongous refinery (250 k barrels a day) built before the war.
Naturally if you are Bill Gate, you can tear it down and build it
somewhere more strategically important.
