If you want to "experience everything" the Caribbean offers, have you
considered taking a cruise? You wouldn't get everything, but you
would get a diverse sampling depending on the cruiseline and the
length of the cruise. On many cruises, you can even get SCUBA
certified (PADI), too.
Check out www.oceaniacruises.com They are new, have smaller ships
(600 feet+-, 650 passengers or so), specialize in longer length
cruises -- 10 to 14 days, many times staying overnight in ports
(better the few hours you get with the big lines), and aren't all
that pricey.
