Simple Vertigo is a designation as opposed to several other variations. It
usually means that a) it will clear soon, b) it will clear faster as you
repeat the event that creates the unbalanced feeling. In my case, it was
moving my head "off plane".
SV is an inner ear, fluid crystallization problem (roughly). It took about
a month for all the symptoms to go away and I had to constantly move my
head to look up or get in and out of bed dozens of times every day. Virus
is suspected and is one of the reasons I am so adamant about taking BABY on
a cruise. BABY with vertigo is nearly impossible to diagnose, nausea is not
uncommon, followed by dehydration, hospitalization and, potentially, DEATH. |
