Re: Royal Caribbean cruises Questions ? Posted on: Sun, 5 Dec 2004 11:42:49 -0600

A cruise, has been for the past 4 years or so, my husbands and I top
choice of vacation, usually taking one to two cruise vacations a
year.Quite recently, there has been a large change in the cruise
industry, with limited opportunties for agents to discount. RCCL is one
of the lines that has put this policy into place and it is just to soon
to see how this will effect future bookings, and what if any
adjustments will need to be made to the policy.

I have been using Quickcruse.com for our bookings. This is a internet
only(only EMail) agency, and the discounts are deep. You do however
need to know exactally what you want as customer service is very
limited. I understand now for certain lines, this agency can no longer
discount.

If your heart is not set on RCCL, you may want to consider Princess who
has not yet put this discount policy into place. I have salied both
lines, and they are quite comparable.

You can also check out cruisecritic.com There are tons of
conversations on the new pricing policy there.
