Back from another great holiday in Barbados Posted on: Mon, 6 Dec 2004 14:36:10 +0000 (UTC)

Hi everyone

Hubby and I are just back from another great holiday in Barbados :o)

We stayed at Crystal Cove This year and it was awesome :o) We also gave
Sarah from Glory Tours http://www.glorytours.org a call before we left
and had her organize another tour of the Island for us.

Last time she took us on a wonderful tour to Harrison's Cave Orchid
World St Johns Church Bathsheba East Coast Lunch Wild Life Reserve and
Holetown for US$70.00 each it was an awesome tour and a real steal.

This year she took us on yet another wonderful tour we visited The
Garrison Savannah and saw all the old Cannons and clock tower. Then she
took us up pass Ostins the most beautiful beach I have ever seen in my
life Miami beach the sea was a collage of the most beautiful color
blues and turquoises truly amazing. We saw a Lighthouse and then we
where off to Crane Beach where we sat and enjoyed something called
fishcakes which are delish and had a drink as we sat enjoying the
scenery of this world famous beach. From the Crane we went back down
the coast to the newest attraction in Barbados Gream Hall Nature
Sanctuary. We got there just as the egrets where coming in flocks of
long necked long legged white birds flying in over the swamp which
looked more like a mini lake to me. Beautiful pathways plants trees and
lots of beautiful birds. We also had great fun feeding the Tarpan these
large Fish 4.5feet in length that jump out of the water making a splash
when you thrown feed into the water off of the boardwalk. It was an
awesome day.

Sarah also suggested we take a cruise on a yacht this time we went on a
Catamaran last time which was fun but this year we wanted to do a
calmer cruise with less noise and less people where we could just relax
and enjoy the day. Lantana was the boat she recommended. Well we had a
wonderful day it was everything we wanted small numbers just 6 of us on
board a 50ft Yacht wonderful company calm blue waters a delicious meal.
Excellent snorkeling and space just a day of total and complete
relaxation.

Glory Tours and Lantana are 2 stops we will make yet again on our next
trek back to Barbados next year which now seems to far away.
