Alot of people are tired of the resorts because really you havent
really been to Jamaica because all you do is stay in the resort and
then go to the craft villages etc. But self catering is not only
cheaper but you do get more out of your vacation than just lounging by
the pool or on the beach all day. You get to experience much more the
the culture.
Alot of the villas will go to the market for you and get stuff for your
first day and then you can go to the market when you arrive or you can
go with the housekeeper when you arrive.
Take care and all the best
