The beaches are only alright. The grasses that you see are indeed prevalent
and most swimming is done further out off of the end of docks. That said,
the colors of the water are amazing.

What is it that you guys like to do? If it is only sunbathe and then wade
out into the water, Belize probably isn't for you. But if you like a
wonderful time and place that makes you happy, where you can easily and
comfortably interact with the locals and tourists alike, then San Pedro, is
the place.
Which accommodations did you consider during your search?
