The Palms. It is very nice acco with kitchen, quiet pool and next door to
Ramon's. Ramon's having the best dock snorkelling. Despite JJ's post,
there is not really good shore snorkelling at San Pedro. The good
snorkelling is done from boats, at Hol Chan, Shark/Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks,
etc. That said, under the end of the dock at Ramon's, there are still some
wonderful, wonderful fish and creatures to be seen and from time to time,
even a nurseshark or two will also cruise by. The dock has a palapa for
shade and so you or your spouse, could be with the baby while the other is
in the water and switch off with one another.

Again, the Palms. Don't do Ramon's, over-priced for what you get. Another
is Banyan Bay but it is much further south of town and not near Ramon's
dock. :^)

There are no true AI's on Ambergris Caye and that is a wonderful thing.

Ask me anything you want, I'll do my best to answer. I've been there 6
times for a total in excess of 100 days.
