Re: All-Inclusives Posted on: Sun, 10 Apr 2005 14:51:45 GMT

My wife and I just returned from Jamiaca where we went with some friends to celebrate their 30th. My wife and I have been married 23 years and since our friends married very young that should put about the same age.
We stayed at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. First time in Jamaica, first at an all inclusive.
Bottom line, we loved it! Beautiful facilities, great food, outstanding staff. And if 8 restraunts and umpteen bars and 60+ pools get boring, you can hop a shuttle for a 20 min. ride to Sandals Dunns River and try several more. The beach at Dunns River is a bit nicer too. Don't even have to take your wallet unless you go off site for a tour. I think there was an extra charge for scuba diving but other then that everything is part of the package.
Only downside I can come up with is the bus ride from and to the airport. A bit long and bumpy, but you get to see some of the countryside and it's well worth it.
