I've never stayed there but my Jamaican friends always stay there and I have
visited them a lot there. We were just there for Easter. Its more like an
apartment complex then a resort, I wouldnt stay there myself. A lot of kids
running around when we visited. It is right in town and close to everything, so
that is its big plus. Its a big complex.
We always stay at the Hibiscus Lodge which is about a 12 minute walk from there
up Main St. A little more expensive but a lot smaller and nicer and close to
everything as well. Amenesia is a club only a couple block away, mostly locals,
then theres the Roof Club on somewhat seedy James St...kinda a ruff and tumble
place, I hear. There is also a casino in town, open all night I think. Then if
you want to get down and dirty, I'm told there is a strip club in town with
dancers from Eastern Europe and Russia...ha
