I'd not spend my entire retirement in the Caribbean, because I would be
afraid it would become too routine.
But if money wasn't limitation, I'd live part of the year on St. John in
the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Of the places I've gone, it's toward the top of the list, but not too
remote or off the beaten path. I can easily get to St. Thomas and then off
to wherever I like in the world.
And since the island is largely a US National Park, I can worry less about the
encroachment of too much development.
