Barbados Hilton finally reopen Posted on: Fri, 10 Jun 2005 19:52:57 +0200

After years of waiting.... after delay, another delay, and another delay,
and some other delays:
Barbados Hilton is now open again.

The old hotel at Needham Point right outside Bridgetown were taken down with
dynamite in 1999, and they have been building a brand new hotel. It looks
good (of course) from outside, and I am exited to take a look inside next
time I go to Barbados.
The hotel is very large, with 350 rooms, almost twice the size of Barbados
second largest hotel.
This hotel break the tradition in Barbados, where hotel has been small and
"homy" but this one is not. If that is good or bad is not up to me to
decide, even if I have my opinion.

Anyway, I am sure that a lot of you are curious about the hotel, and some of
you may even find yourself staying there one time or another.
