Freeport is a commercial city with an airport and not much IMHO of a
tourist destination. There are nice places elsewhere on Grand Bahama.
I'm quite fond of Lucaya, and if you want somewhere out away from
everything (and if they've recovered from the hurricanes) you could go
to West End. You can also connect to the Abacos from there.
