Thats where the duplicate copies of your paperwork come in. If you
have only one copy they will invariably loose it. That's where backup
copies come in handy. Hand a backup copy over with a small tip and the
suggestion that they verify things with the home office. Usually the
rental agent will come back with some apology about a computer glitch.
If you play things right you may wind up with a free upgrade.
