There aren't any "bandidos" on Hwy 307 at night. But the topes - speed
bumps can really mess you up. Instead of going up and forming a bump,
they go down. If you hit one of those unexpectedly at full speed,
depending on type of car, you can do some real damage to the car's
suspension. Until you become really familiar with the highway and learn
where the topes are, driving at night or during a heavy downpour should
be done with care.
Livestock and wildlife sometimes like to hang out on the highway.
Carloads of young hombres who have had a little too much cerveza can be
rowdy and a little reckless.
