? Not if you take an evening stroll anywhere in Havana. You will
be snagged by dozens of people trying to get you to visit private
restaurants, in people's houses. (They are paid touts). The
private restaurants are cheap, and serve a decent meal. They
aren't usually legal though.
If you stay in B & B, the owners are usually more than happy to
provide dinner too for a small price, although they're not usually
permitted. Keep it under your hat and everyone is happier.
