If you get a drink at the beacht or eat at a small restaurant, you can pay
in J$. Get them on the spot from the ATM (they have ATM with cirrus-sign).

When you pay expensive things, like rent-car or organised tours, prices are
often quoted in US$.

But for smaller things I would use J$, as the exchange rate is better.
