Based on suggestions here I booked a taxi to drive me around for the day on
St. Lucia. It was the most overpriced and wasted thing I've done when
traveling. I ended up wasting another day using the buses to go back and
see the things he drove right past without telling me, until I asked and it
was too late. Like making a stop at Marigot Bay.

I see no reason why not to rent a car. Driving on the other side of the
road is a non-issue. And what's wrong with waiting for the other cars to
pass? You'd also have to wait if you were in a taxi.
