In Cancun you can take an excursion on the Jungle tour or the more
touristy Xel Ha which is crowded and the snorkeling isn't that great.
We stay south of Cancun where it's very slow and quiet. Try taking a
trip south to Tulum or Akumal and you can snorkel off the beach. We
swim with sea turtles..squid..sting rays etc..it's great! One other
place is Yalku Lagoon which is beautiful and not very crowded.
For shopping to to El Negro..it's the huge shopping center in the
middle of town , Thar's also La Isla in the center of the hotel zone
which is a shopping mall. Another place to do some research on Cancun
