All-cotton shirts and shorts. Rayon is another avenue but hotter to
wear.

Shoes? Good hiking boots or at least sneakers. Beware the mud. You
*will* encounter mud in Dominica.

And carry a pair of flip-flops (shower shoes) for entering rocky river
edges. You won't regret it.

Oh, and plastic bags with twist ties to keep the residual damp out of
your bag.
