Get off the beaten path and go to Luperon and La Isabela....to the west of
Puerto Plata.
The 2nd voyage of Columbus was to La Isabela and there is a wonderful museum
there. Also, the fish restaurant Oliva's is wonderful.....a typical
Dominican restaurant.
