Provo (in the Turks and Caicos) is indeed a great place to visit.. We've
been there 6 times. It has great diving and beautiful beaches.
However, since the OP said they were traveling over Christmas holidays,
I would not recommend Provo. T&C is far enough north that the water
will be somewhat cool and the general weather rather unpredictable and
potentially stormy. If they were only after nice beaches and land based
activities, it would probably be fine, but with the expressed interest
in diving I would not recommend Provo in December.
