The train does not stop and the 3 hour tour does not include the whole
trip - just half of it. Usually cruise ship pax get on near the
airport and take the train out to the end of the island, at which time
they get on buses and are taken back to the ship while a second group
of pax which has been bussed to the end of the train line gets on and
takes the train back to the area of the airport.
It was a very nice trip I thought. They gave us free water, rum
drinks, sugar candy, and the bus driver gave us a narrative telling us
what we were passing on the way out of the train. There was also a
singing group to serenade, and a commentator on the train. Each car
had a downstairs (with A/C) and an upstairs which was open air.
