I drove down to spend Halloween with the Sleazy bunch and had a ball.
Stayed at the Garden District Hotel on St. Charles. Nice enough hotel,
prices were good, restaurant was decent. Take a look:

Check out the rates!
Also, this hotel has a trolley stop right outside the front door. I
never drove my truck at all after I got there.
And of course, while there, you need to check out the dive next door :

The bar is neat, the restaurant is OK and of course, if you need to do
laundry.... ;-)
Also, if you walk down St. Charles towards downtown, you will find many
other restaurants and snack bars. .
