Back in the late '60 and very early '70's I always packed a white formal
jacket. You wore the black for the first formal night and the last, and
when the crew switched to white, so did the passengers.

I don't know where my white jacket went, Charles, probably to Goodwill, but
these days I am thankful that the folks on the cruises we select are still
willing to wear black.
