I don't know if it still exists, but when we were at the falls last
year, there was another way out...an express lane, if you will, that
bypassed the peddlers' village and took you directly to the parking lot.
It's certainly worth asking about.
If you've never been to the falls, I wouldn't put off a trip there
because of the vendors. I've found that averted eyes and a purposeful
stride are usually enough to prevent unwanted contact. If you look
interested or approachable, you will be approached; even then, a firm
"no thank you" will suffice. Just keep moving.
