We just returned from a wonderful cruise to New England
and Canada on the Golden Princess.
Everything about that cruise was perfect - a gorgeous, if
not too large, ship.
Wonderful service, great food and perfect weather.
HOWEVER - when we returned to NYC, there were three ships
disembarking and it was a fiasco at that dock. Not the fault
of the cruise lines but definitely the inadequacy of the POrt
Authority.
Waiting for drivers and taxis at the curb was absolutelu
murderous. There is nobody running the exit of people and
certainly there should be a safer and more organized
end-
The whole situation spoils the entire wonderful cruise experience
and if they are thinking of bringing more ships into NYC, someone
should organize this.
