>My wife and I are booked next August on the Carnival Pride to the
Mexican Riviera, after just completing the Alaska cruise on the
Sapphire Princess.

lines and ships.

1=2E Embarkation on Princess may take 30 minutes, expect three hours on
Carnival.

2=2E I would compare the Sapphire (haven=92t been on her, but has been on
the sister ship the Diamond) to a high-end hotel on the Vegas strip.
The Pride is more like a tourist trap in Laughlin.

3=2E My opinion the food, service and entertainment is better on
Princess, but that=92s just an opinion. We felt there was a wider choice
of different foods on the Pride.

4=2E If the staff does the =93Goodbye=94 show on the last night DO NOT MISS.
