UPDATE

When I made the original post, we were thinking of a cruise just for
the two of us. We put out a request on cruisecompete.com and got zero
results. Things changed and we decided to take two of our grown
children. Went back to cruisecompete.com and changed the number of
cabins from 1 to 2. Everything else remained the same. Poof, four T/A's
now think it's worth their time to submit a quote.

And yes, one of them did come in with not only a very very low price
but onboard credits on top of it.

I can only think that the profit from one low end stateroom isn't that
much, but two rooms gets some interest.
