You are not trying to rent a room at 8PM on the same night. You are
trying to make a reservation months in advance. Airlines, cruise
lines, and hotels have sophisticated yield management systems that
make these decisions for reservations made ahead of the date. These
systems make set the criteria for minimum nights, rates, etc.
