Carnival's claim has been that they were just being made whole, that
they were not making extra profit. If that is not true, which the
congressman is asserting, then they are a "bad guy". I am not saying
yet they are a bad guy because at this point I have only read the
skimpy media reports. I will admit though from day one when I read of
this deal I was suspicious of the deal, not because it was Carnival,
but because the $236 million price seems excessive to me.
