The prefered way on Usenet is to post comments after the quoted text.
The quoted text is not supposed to be the entire post that is being
replied too if it is a long post, the quoted text should be trimmed so
there is just enough to provide context. The bad habit of top posting
came mainly from the way Outlook Express does quoting.
