Hi All,
Starting to make plans for my pre-cruise day in Tampa, in March. For
cruise out of FLL and MIA, I've been "pricelining" for the past few
years with great success. I'm totally unfamiliar with Tampa and the
geography involved as far as distances between the airport, port and
downtown areas. Is it similar to FLL? When using priceline for Tampa,
which area would be best for me to select, to be within walking
distance of good restaurants or night spots (local please...no chains)
yet not too far for a cab ride from the airport or to the ship. I may
rent a car for the day...still undecided about that. Prices actually
look pretty reasonable (from JetBlue's hotel search) so I might even
skip Priceline, if anyone here has a outstanding recommendation for the
area.
