Hello group
I am going on my first ever trip outside of Europe, to the Carribean on a
cruise. We will fly to Barbados then board the ship and visit a different
island most days.
We will be travelling to the following islands:
Barbados, Tortola, St Maarten, St Kitts, St Lucia, Mayreau, Barbados again,
Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Isla Margarita, Tobago and back to Barbados.
I have a couple of questions for anyone who can help:
1) I suffer from IBS, and often get random attacks where I may suddenly need
a toilet. What are the islands toilet facilities like, are there public
toilets at most beaches and tourist locations and in the port towns? Are
there public bars and hotels that would allow use of toilet facilities in
urgent situation!?
2) What is the temperature like in January in that area of the world
comfortable or HOT!? (I'm English... used to cool/mild English weather!)
3) Will we be pestered by insects, flys and wasps whilst off the ship?
4) Would we need any vaccinations to go to these places?
5) Any good websites where we can plan ahead for each of the islands and
make sure we experience the best places of each island?
thanks
