I just watched my tape of the show. Yes, I know tape is archaic.

I noticed that the ship had azipods and wondered how a steam engine
can drive azipods.

There were also the usual Love Boat problems. Cabins were too big.
Crew cabins were too nice. Plumbing was not the kind you have on
ships. They had a toilet with a tank; seems like there would be
quite a bit of sloshing around.
