Some have said so, but by the generally accepted definition, NO.
Advertising in a sig line is not spamming, posting enticements to visit
one's web site, especially under false pretenses is. There is a
difference here in honesty as well as advertising per se. Note that this
OP made it sound like he had just found this neat site which
conveniently bears his markings.
