Re: Crystal daily activities? Posted on: Fri, 9 Dec 2005 18:14:29 -0500

It has been a decade since we cruised on a Crystal ship but I remember that
we were never bored.

When we did a Trans-Atlantic in 1994 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of
D-Day, they had a series of lecturers giving talks every day. They offered
more enrichment lectures in Alaska in 1995.

They offered galley tours and wine tasting. Since I am not a bingo player I
cannot recall whether they offered that and I while I know that we had
bridge tours I cannot guarantee that they still offer them.

We had a kind of advantage. We were seated at the Captain's table every
night on both cruises because of the kindness of our traveling companion,
and were lucky enough to have the same Captain on both cruises and the
pleasure of the company of his wife both times.
